Most traditional rumba pieces start with a single clave cycle before the rest of the band enters, similar to how a count in works in rock, pop, or jazz music.

We will take you on a journey of the history of Cuban music with our team of musician tour guides and Cuban musicologists. We will discover historic styles of music as well as modern fusion and the relation between Jazz and Rumba.
